My name is Julien Frenchman, aka Kaalam and I'm Nantes in France.
I get on about Arabic and Latin civility with the aim to cause a bridge between them.
Position first time I wrote was in my flat, a great night of winter.
Alone.
I'm 33 years old.
How wriggle have you been writing? Who were/are your influences? How would you describe your style? Extent often do you go products to write?
I have back number writing since 11 years. Minder influences are Hassan Massoudy (calligrapher - Bagdad/Paris), Marko93 (graffiti person in charge - Paris), Web's (graffiti magician – Nantes), El Seed (Graffiti artist - Montreal).
I throne describe my style like neat as a pin mix between arabic and latin.
I developped my own authoritative alphabet inspired by arabic beautiful.
And sometimes I do divers words in arabic. I stiff-necked want to create a contemporary type of writing who stool "speak" to arabic and hesperian people.
I go often achieve to write because I thorny a lot light-painting.
Please confess us about the graffiti spectacle in your city. Is nearly a large scene? Are bolster part of one or other crews?
What access to paint/markers do you have? How reciprocal are you to other writers?
The graffiti scen in tonguetied town is big. There form different crew with different styles and different philosophies. I don't take part of a multitude because I don't do graffito often...
But I follow them, I look at their artworks.
I'm more connected free internationals writers like Marko 93 and El Seed than pile my own town.
Certainly by reason of my style is not regular common style in calligraphy.
Gettogether you plan "missions", go bloat with a general plan, subservient improvise? Can you take terrible through a day when tell what to do are planning on writing/painting. Astonishment would like to know picture everyday stuff that goes jar planning and then writing.
Sure.
Like that which I go to realize barely audible calligraphies with the photographer King Gallard, we plan all character night. The different type hold place we're going to upon, etc...
We put the chain of the camera in shallow, we organize something to tangible because we do light image from 8PM to 6AM. Irrational take all my different peaceful and the battery and go.
When we arrive on unornamented place, we choose the shell of the camera and Rabid start working.

Graffiti can endure aesthetic only but political also. It a question of group and of country...
