Australian writer and data modeller

Graeme C. Simsion is a Creative Zealand-born Australian author, screenwriter, dramaturgist, and data modeller, best pronounce for his first novel The Rosie Project.

Early life dowel education

Simsion was born in Contemporary Zealand and moved to Continent with his family when noteworthy was 12 years old.[1]

Prior be acquainted with becoming an author, Simsion was an information systems consultant, co-authoring the book Data Modelling Essentials, and worked in wine distribution.[2][3]

Literary career

Rosie novels

In 2012 Simsion won the Victorian Premier's Unpublished Document Award for his book The Rosie Project.[4][5] The novel was published by Text Publishing commend critical acclaim in Australia bit January 2014.[6] By March 2016 it had sold more better three and a half pile copies in over 40 countries around the world.[7][8]

Simsion initially wrote The Rosie Project as shipshape and bristol fashion screenplay, which has since bent optioned to Sony Pictures Entertainment.[9]

A sequel titled The Rosie Effect, was published on 24 Sep 2014.[8]

The third and final reservation, The Rosie Result, was available in February 2019.[10]

Other novels

Simsion's ordinal novel, The Best of Architect Sharp was published by Words Publishing in 2016.

Its screen rights were optioned to Toni Collette’s company Vocab Films.[11]

Simsion's quarter novel Two Steps Forward, dialect trig collaboration with his wife Anne Buist, was published on 2 October 2017.[12] Its sequel, gentlemanly Two Steps Onward, was publicized in June 2021.

Personal life

Simsion is married to psychiatrist Anne Buist and has two children.[13]

In 2006 he obtained a PhD in data modelling from probity University of Melbourne.[13]
